We rented an office space with Union at both North Park locations during the early growth phase of our company Mammalz. In total, we rented with them for about 11 months. It was a wonderful experience for a few reasons: First of all, the location is epic. You are walking distance to the best restaurants in North Park and across the street from Target. Parking is somewhat difficult, but Union gets good pricing on the parking garage nearby and at most, you'll have to walk a few hundred feet. My only complaint about our specific office at the 30th street location was its proximity to the alley dumpsters. Those trash trucks... Second, Russ is an awesome community manager for these locations. He helped us frequently with finding free furniture, installing whiteboards, pointing us in the right direction for good food, and even setting up haircuts at our workspace. The coffee was always hot and he was good about refilling tea requests. Tasty seasonal kombucha was always on tap, which was a refreshing alternative. Beer wasn't always as available as we would've liked it to be, but that's probably a good thing. Russ and Jamie, the owner, were also great at organizing after-work events like comedy shows, networking sessions, and self-improvement workshops. Lastly, the pricing and zero commitment leasing options were great for us as a startup. The rent here was competitive with most other downtown San Diego and coastal north county options, and the fact that we could go month-to-month let us decide every 30 days if we needed to stay. I'm definitely going to miss working here. I strongly recommend Union to any other small teams or individuals working in a flexible startup setting.

This is a wonderful place to work. I joined with a part-time membership when I moved back to San Diego and found it to be an excellent place to work and meet people. The facilities are great and have different options for quieter or more livelier places to work, plus indoor and outdoor options (with outlets outside). I felt like whether I needed a super-focused productive day, or a lighter chitchat day, I could find that there. I appreciated the events too as a good way to get to know fellow coworkers. Good coffee, tea, and kombucha options too. I also loved that it’s dog friendly so I could bring in my pup. The location is hard to beat with numerous shops, restaurants, bars, breweries, etc just steps away. I 100% recommend to anyone who works from home!

During my recent visit to San Diego, I had the pleasure of taking a tour of Union Cowork in North Park, led by Russ. I was very impressed. Russ was friendly and knowledgeable about the space, and clearly passionate about the brand. The atmosphere seemed to motivate productivity, and would certainly help me focus. The amenities provided were undoubtedly top-notch, and the thoughtful design of the communal areas, both indoors and outdoors, offered comfortable workstations that catered to different preferences. The architecture of the building itself was both modern and sensible, providing inspiring spots to work throughout. The live plants throughout help bring the outdoors inside. The Union Cowork brand is neighborhood-centric, and North Park is well-represented, from the art to the beverages available. Overall, this is a well-designed and implemented coworking space that exceeded my expectations, and will be my first choice on future visits to town.

This is my second time coming to Union Cowork and have loved every single day here. I came for a week in 2020 and had to return this year for two weeks while I visit family in San Diego. Russ is amazing & super helpful. He goes out of his way to ensure people feel comfortable & enjoy their time at Union Cowork. There are donuts & happy hour each week. Sometimes people bring in their dogs and they're so cute. Definitely lots of moments that make you smile & be glad to be there. Location is a goldmine. So many awesome places nearby. I mean come on, arcade bar across the street? Multiple breweries & awesome food a block away? Even though there is no more street parking, there is a big parking structure down the street for $10/day. There are enough desks to try a different area each day so it doesn't feel so monotonous. They have a patio in the front, a more private one in the back, & a balcony area with lots of open space to enjoy the sun.

I’ve tried several coworking spaces in San Diego and Union was my favorite. Always clean and quiet (with lofi softly playing in the background). There’s outdoor seating areas for some fresh air and the member events are really fun. Russ, the manager, is so passionate and makes the space feel more than just a place to work, but a place to meet cool people and make new friends :)
