I stayed at Santa Monica Coliving for four months from 2020 to 2021, and it was an incredible experience. The people I met while living here were exceptional and I made some amazing friends I still talk to regularly. The layout of the apartments, including the shared living spaces, makes it easy to socialize if you'd like, but the rooms are private enough to allow for alone time as well. I really appreciated the community events that were organized to help residents connect. Sean and Janeen are incredibly welcoming and lovely, always going above and beyond to ensure a great experience. The location is prime—within walking distance to downtown Santa Monica and Venice Beach, just seven blocks from the ocean, and close to the many bars and restaurants of Ocean Park. I wouldn't change this experience for anything, and if I'm ever in the area again, I would love to return.

They are, without a doubt, two of the loveliest and most helpful people I’ve ever had as landlords. Their professionalism and genuine care for tenants make the living experience here exceptional. From the moment I moved in, Sean and Janeen have gone above and beyond to ensure my comfort and address any concerns promptly. I stayed here for 5 months while getting settled in LA. It's an absolutely perfect place to land when you first arrive, especially if you're coming to LA on your own. Everything is included in the rent so you don't have to worry about dealing with utilities etc. - which can be difficult to do when you're a new arrival who doesn't have a US credit score yet. Basic supplies are provided - toilet paper, washing up liquid, cleaning supplies. There's a free laundry onsite. A maid service comes regularly to clean the communal areas so you don't have to worry about arguing over who is cleaning the kitchen and the bathroom. The unit is really well-located in what is probably my favourite part of Santa Monica. It's quiet and leafy with just a 10-15 minute walk down to the beach. Main Street is nearby which has lots of great cafes and restaurants on it. There's a handy Walgreens on Lincoln. It's also only about a 20 min walk from Downtown Santa Monica with two cinemas, Trader Joes and a small Target plus other stores. And if you're using public transport like I was, it's close to a range of useful bus routes. Being an older and used to living in my own apartment back home, I was a little nervous about co-living but the flats have slightly different characters and Sean and Janeen think carefully about which would suit you best. I lived with two lovely quiet and considerate flatmates which was perfect for me - but some of the other units have a bit more of a social vibe if that's your thing. Highly recommended!

I moved to LA in 2020 and stayed at this spot for 6+ months! I have to say Sean and Janeen (the landlords) are extremely friendly and helpful! They definitely made me feel at home in a new state. From a location perspective, you are in an awesome spot - 15 min walk to the beach, a quick walk to Main St which is full of restaurants, bars and workout classes. House is clean (someone comes weekly) and you don't have to worry about supplies like toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc. - all included! Lastly, I made a few lifelong friends - most of the people there are young, fun and social!

Fantastic place in a perfect location! Janeen and Sean are running an amazing place that is well taken care of and has everything I need. You cannot beat the location...10-15 minute walk to the beach, metro, stores, etc. Everyone in the building seems nice and the place and area feel safe and secure. Love the regular house cleaning, free supplies and laundry too! Janeen and Sean both live in the area and are quick to respond to questions or requests and seem to genuinely care about making sure everyone is happy living here. They even throw mixers so people can get to know each other. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
