overall had a great experience here. Looked quite last-minute and the staff were really friendly at accommodating us, they called to check our arrival Time had drinks ready when we arrived helped us park our car and carried out bags to the rooms. They always treated us with kindness and a smile on their face. The hotel itself was nestled in a little alleyway right next to it its own little beach and it had a pool as well. The rooms were nice and the interior of the hotel was well kept. My only negative was a slight damp smell which was a minor detail. Overall recommend the outpost.

Outpost Hostel, what a place! When you arrive you get the warmest welcome, including a free cold iced tea, beautiful! We stayed for 5 nights but extended twice and ended up staying almost 2 weeks. The staff are the friendliest and most lovely people, they help with any enquiries and always make sure you're ok. The cafe and food here are amazing, great menu options and cooked with love! The pool is such a bonus, and the free pool towels are a great touch. The hostel has a co-working space,with great spaces for working if required, including individual booths as well as large computer rooms. The rooftop is a great place to watch the sunset over the beach! Thank you so much to all the staff at Outpost, especially Himaya she was incredible, what a hostess! 😊🤩😁🙏

Outpost Weligama is directly at the beach front, the beach is less busy here than onto the western part of the beach where all the surf schools are. The service was excellent and staff very friendly. Nice common area, pool & vibe. Rooms are basic with nice furniture. Room for improvement: - The shower gel was in a weird pottery and was difficult to get out. - Maybe a bit overpriced for Sri Lanka prices, but I guess you pay a bit for the coworking etc. - Only Type G plugs in the room, all the other accomodations had universal plugs.

Great place we loved it here. Friendly staff, comfortable chairs in the coworking space, right on the beach. The rooms facing the ocean are awesome, balcony w ocean view. It’s expensive but we really enjoyed it. Booked 1 week then extended another 10 days. And Mario the community manager was great, we went to many of the events - yoga, dinners, movie night. Would stay again 100% 👍

For me, staff was super friendly. Space is clean. I loved it was a bit out of 'the heart' of Weligama however everything is super accessible and your there in mins. I had to make a last minute change to my reso, they had to stick to their policies & procedure and they went out of their way that made it feel beyond accommodating. Thank you for the stay!
