My time at playworking was great, the location is perfect for deep work and close enough to both nature and city breaks. Jeffrey’s hospitality makes the difference compared to other commercial style colivings. And the garage full of Royal Enfield’s was the cherry on the top.

I spent over a month at Playworking, and it was truly one of the best experiences of my life. My stay was during peak season mid May through early July. I was providing yoga classes to the community along with working remotely during my stay. Montenegro as a country has so much to offer. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, and being a part of the Playworking community allowed me to enjoy it more than I could have imagined. The village surrounding the house is very safe and close by to a market and several beaches. (20-25 minute walk) We had access to bicycles and a motor that allowed us to explore all around the local area and get to these locations quicker if we did not feel like walking. We went down to the water for a sunset paddle board almost every evening I was there, and spent many nights laughing and connecting with new friends in the outdoor space provided at the house. The house is beautiful and very functional. There are good areas for you to store food and have room to cook, plenty of space to get your work done efficiently (the Wifi works great and is reliable), and beautiful views nearby that you can visit to take time for yourself. The best part of staying at Playworking is the community aspect it creates. I had so much fun throughout my entire time there. The environment creates opportunities to make beautiful connections with individuals from all over the world. There are many community dinners, game nights, daily yoga classes, and activities offered for everyone to enjoy together. The community comes together and respects each other in order to create a positive living environment that allows everyone to enjoy their time in this space. There is always someone who can answer any questions you have, and you can communicate with Jeffery if you ever need help. I always felt very safe and supported by the community surrounding me. I would recommend this experience to anyone seeking to enjoy all the beauty Montenegro has to offer. I will be returning as soon as I can!

I stayed in Playworking in January and February this year and had an excellent stay. I was looking for somewhere that would save me money and be quiet to work over the winter months and it fitted the bill - I found a good balance of relaxation and getting work done. I stayed in a double room next to the lounge on the first floor with underfloor heating. The lounge had a wood burner that I lit most days, so all in all very warm and comfortable. It also has a big balcony overlooking the mountains and sea. I think staying in winter is a different experience from the summer, while the weather was way better than I expected (t-shirt weather on sunny days) the water is too cold for water sports (as I anticipated and tbh don't have much interest in) and there are less coworkers and volunteers around. That fitted me really well as we still had a lovely group staying there and had film and game nights, and got out on excursions at weekends (Kotor in particular was really peaceful with way fewer tourists), while I still had peace and quiet to get work done. I walked daily into the smaller supermarket in the village about 20-25 minutes away (the walk has stunning views and i liked the exercise) and the owner Jeffrey also does bigger super market runs a couple of times a week. There is also a really good indepenedent coffee shop the other side of the village. Overall, I would really recommend a winter stay - especially for the price - and I'm planning to do it again in October and November.

The best place for work and have fun in Montenegro! I arrived at the beginning of March for two months at Playworking to enjoy the beautiful Montenegrin spring by the sea while working remotely - and it was a great decision. In all of Montenegro, this is the only place where you can combine work and leisure with all the amenities. There is an usual sea (though you won't find such purity anywhere else in the world) and there's a sea of entertainment, trips and walks through resort towns, paddleboarding, hiking through the picturesque mountains of Montenegro, and of course, an awesome community of the most interesting people from all over the world. During my stay, there were people from America, Slovakia, England, Brazil, Italy… From atmospheric hangouts to networking for the future. There simply can't be any downsides here. And of course, play hard, but WORK hard. And with work, there are only advantages here. Where else can you live in the purest nature with a view of both the mountains and the sea, the fastest internet, and comfortable workspaces? Only here, at Playworking. Of course, I must mention the owner of this place - Jeff. An American living both in England and Montenegro, and speaking excellent Russian - you can only find this in Montenegro! A very interesting and multifaceted person, with whom you can sit in the evenings and discuss absolutely anything. Jeff is always in touch and can help with advice, and often with action. For example, he helped me to rent a car on the most favorable terms without deposits and credit cards, which are required in rental agencies. If you are still thinking about whether it's worth it or not - don't waste time, throw your swim trunks in the suitcase and head straight to Playworking, you'll thank me later. And a bit more specifics: 1. Internet - consistently 100mbs+ and 4G catches perfectly 2. Workspaces - desks to suit any taste, comfortable chairs, and even a monitor is available if someone needs it 3. Kitchen with any utensils for cooking anything you want, pizza oven 4. Grocery store 20 min on foot or 5 min by scooter or 5 min by car

Just wanted to share my incredible experience at Playworking coliving, where I stayed for 2 months and checked out about 3 weeks ago - still missing the place like crazy! The owner is an absolute gem, super friendly and always went above and beyond to help everyone feel at home. What makes this place truly special is all the free amenities - you've got bikes to explore the area, SUP boards for those gorgeous bay adventures, and a ping pong table in the garden for some friendly competition ( probably in the house you will see the picture of our tournament champion ) . They've also recently started offering motorcycle rentals if you're looking to explore further! The location is perfect - just a quick 10-minute drive to both Kotor and Tivat. But the best part? The incredible community vibes! Met some of the most interesting people from all over the world, made friendships that I know will last, and had some epic parties that I'll never forget. To any digital nomads out there - this place is an absolute gem! The perfect mix of productivity, adventure, and community. Missing those sunset SUP sessions and garden hangouts already!
