We arrived today and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The customer service is phenomenal, Jose at the front desk is very helpful, we needed additional services and he helped us find them right away! The hotel is beautiful and you can feel the san Miguel vibe. The rooftop offers the best view of the city. Overall 5 out of 5!

Amazing location! no hotel can beat it! But the service? Terrible at first. The older lady at the front desk seemed clueless or didn’t understand english. Jose the guy who tried to help after was just as useless. Super frustrating. Thankfully, Jeanette saved the day! She spoke great english and gave awesome recommendations—total lifesaver. Not all staff needs training, but those two definitely do. Housekeeping was sweet and tried hard to communicate. Room was clean. Rooftop view? Loved it—so refreshing. Food was meh. Overall, okay for a short stay.

Spent the 1st night of 4 prepaid nights in one of the Lofts. On the plus side the room is large, has a great view, has a kitchen, good walkable location,and looks like the pictures. And Janeth from the front desk is very amicable and helpful. I’m traveling with my 74 year old mother and she help us get up the two flights of stairs with our suitcases. And now the negatives: The toilet tank doesn’t fill automatically with water to flush. (My mother filled the tank during the night so she could flush the toilet).The smoke alarm was beeping since we arrived. The refrigerator has three legs and nearly fell over when we opened it to put food in. The air conditioner stopped working.

I loved my stay here! Everyone was super friendly and the location was close to everything and to the church. The bar on the main floor has amazing drinks. We went twice there! Hot water was kinda in and out but I didn’t mind it. The food at the restaurants rooftop was super good too along with their drinks. I would stay here again.

I am currently staying at Selena Hotel, San Miguel de Allende. The first two days, there was NO water in the bathroom!!!! The first day I believed the lady at the front desk that there was some problem and it will be fixed. But when it happened again this morning, I know she was lying. NO water to wash your face, hands or take a shower. The toilet did not flush. Besides, the arrogance on the face of the lady at the front desk was like she didn’t care. This is no way to run a hotel. How can they charge me and not provide ANY water in the bathroom in the morning? DO NOT STAY HERE. The location is excellent but nothing else. What a waste!
