Overall Experience: Captivating and Calm Nestled amidst nature's bounty, Outsite offers a tranquil retreat that stands in stark contrast to the bustling city center. The seclusion serves as both its charm and its challenge, offering peace at the expense of convenience. Accommodation: Gorgeous with a Quirk The property is a feast for the eyes, combining modern aesthetics with natural beauty. However, be warned: if bugs and insects are your nemeses, this might not be the ideal spot for you. Ideal for Couples: A Romantic Seclusion The distance from the city makes this Outsite location an ideal sanctuary for couples seeking an intimate getaway. It adds an extra layer of romance, making every moment feel like it’s just the two of you against the world. Amenities: A Mixed Bag Swimming Pool: Looks inviting but don't be fooled—the water is cold. Despite spending four months here, not once did we take the plunge. Furniture: The furnishings are top-notch. Whether you're working from the desk or lounging on the bed, comfort is guaranteed. Kitchen: A functional space, albeit a bit cramped given the number of rooms. Weather Concerns: Rain Check Be prepared for the occasional rainstorm that might force you to stay indoors. While it adds to the ambiance, it can be a minor inconvenience if you need to step out. Positives to Highlight: Serenity: The calm atmosphere is like a balm for the soul. Staff: The employees are friendly and make you feel right at home. Ownership: The discretion of the owner is commendable, ensuring your privacy is respected. A Word on the Laundry One aspect that did raise an eyebrow was the laundry service. It's cash-only, which felt like an unnecessary hassle in such a well-thought-out setting. Final Thoughts Outsite provides a uniquely tranquil experience with a few quirks that add to its character. While not without its challenges, the overall vibe makes it worth considering for your next escape.

The San Miguel de Allende Outsite is a truly magical place. The property is immaculately kept, rooms and common area very comfortable, and some of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen. The property is a 40-min walk from the center of town (about half of it is not particularly enjoyable crossing a highway and without great sidewalks), but it felt totally safe and is doable if you like to walk (I walked into town almost every day). This is a great place to spend quality time with a close friend or a romantic partner, or for quiet creative inspiration. I was so lucky that the two other guests at the Outsite were fantastic human beings- they made the experience particularly wonderful even though I traveled alone. High recommendations for Sabor y Rytmo dance school in town for those wanting to learn Salsa or Cumbia. Fernando is an excellent teacher at super-affordable prices.

I stayed at San Miguel for a week and would have given the room 5 stars if 1. There was at least some sort of fan provided 2. Basic maintainance was done prior to check in. The rooms are huge and very well appointed but unfortunately I stayed during a heat wave and despite asking for at least a plug in fan nothing was available. This was extremely uncomfortable just not acceptable for mid summer. The sink tap was also broken on check in (this was fixed within 24 hours) and the side of the bed had small nails sticking out (again fixed quickly). The actual site is stunning and kept very clean. The kitchen facilities for the co-live need a few more utensils and pots and pans. It is also nice in co-lives to provide some boardgames, gards etc to encourage social interaction. The Outsite host Jessica was great and reguarly checked in. Lastly the location is a 45 min walk from down and some of the roads there are very cobbled so not suitable for a bike. It's great if you like the peace and quiet but hard to just pop into town before or after work. I would still recommend staying as I believe they are purchasing room fans. Just a little tip book the double room not the king as they are actually bigger and cheaper!.
