I had the most lovely stay at Selina Desert Garden :) Came for 4 nights with my dog to a vacation with a bit of nomad work on my laptop. I stayed at a quiet beautiful room with a great shower, the breakfast and the food was really good. I took Yoga and Woman African dancing lessons, they were open to the public community which is really a great way to integrate and feel connected. Also the staff was super friendly and helped me feel like home! โฅ I really recommend this place! The only thing that I would add is more walking paths instead of the little rocks. That way people with wheelchair or people who wants to walk barefoot will have access everywhere! (my old dog couldn't walk on it actually lol) Thank you for awesome experience!

So disappointed in Selina. The people working there are nice but thereโs no service, no yoga, no massages, no activity. You order lunch at the bar and then they tell you they donโt have want you want even though itโs on the menu. Thereโs literally nothing to do in the town beyond one day maximum two, and very few kosher choices where to eat. Stay one night max, explore the machtesh- spend as much time in nature as you can because thereโs nothing to do in the town. Keeboots cafe is supposed to be a co-working space and the wifi doesnโt even work.

I stayed in Selina Desert Garden with a friend for 1 night in the Suite Plus room. All in all an ok concept. Cheaper than similar get aways in Israel at least. The parkings in front to the Hotel requires payment. We were told by arrivance, that the pool is being closed at 19h. We can have a welcome drink at 19h at the pool bar, kitchen until 20h. We arrived at the pool, it was full of families with small children. The water was very blurry and dirty. No place to lie down or sit. At 19h the pool closed, we went to the room. Used 2 of the 4 coffee capsules we had in the room. drank a short espresso. 19:15h I go to the pool bar to get us our welcome drink. The lady tells me: โBut the welcome drink was at 19h. Me still smiling: โOk, its 19:15h now.โ Her: โYes, but the welcome drink you only get at 19h.โ Me: โYou are kidding me, right?โ Her: โNo.โ Me: โOookey.. do you maybe still have some of the welcomw drink?โ Her: โYes.โ Long pause Me: โCould we have 2 please?โ Her: โOk, but next time at 19h only.โ Next morning we have breakfast, finish it around 10am. I see nobody at the pool. Its a sunday morning. We were wondering where everybody is.. The pool was closed. The pool boy decided to treat the pool whith chlorine and let the filter machine run.. 45degrees celsius in the shade, in the middle of the desert. No pool. Dear Selina: For this specific location, make a deal with pango, pay them an average, add the few shekel to the room price. Make me, as a customer, feel welcome from the start. To be honest, I felt like a little girl that someone is telling her to get out of the pool, dinner only until this time, welcome drink only at that time.. Only 2 coffees for you.. Clean the pool during the night, so your customers can enjoy their stay. The level of friendliness, hospitality and cleanliness can surely be improved.

the glamp tent was nice, but there were many human hairs on the pillows when we checked in. also it was hard to sleep because above the tent there was a bright light which was on the whole night. this meant we could not sleep in the dark (the light came through the tent). there was constant music and people voices. if you like that then itโs fine, but donโt expect to feel the silence and calmness of the desert here. on the plus side, the shared bathroom was very clean and pleasant.
