This is a huge hostel joined by a bar/restaurant in the same building. Common area is a courtyard, and the whole setting is very ambient and nice. One thing I didn't like about the dorm rooms were that there are like 8 beds in one room, and for those who sleep on the beds on top not the bottom, it was impossible not to make noise when you move, and especially when you had to go up and down. I felt bad for the person sleeping at the bottom of my bed, but I couldn't help it. Every little move I make, the bed made loud noise. Kitchen was also very under equipped. If someone was cooking, there wasn't really any other thing that you could use to cook for yourself, you had to wait until that person's done using the kitchenware. I did expect more because the price is a bit high for a hostel bed, but it wasn't a bad stay at all. It was good enough, not the best.

I arrived very late at night of Dec 3rd and due to an error my room was already taken. The guy at the reception was very helpful and made some phone calls. I received their loft room for the night, which was very cool. Unfortunately I only had two nights there and after the 2nd one, I had to head to the airport in the early morning, like around 3.30 AM. Again the same guy was very helping and got me a taxi to the airport. I forgot to ask him for his name, but his kindness made a big part of the positive stay I had there. :-) Food was good as well and the rooms are very nice. I especially liked the old and classic style of the building, it really has a lot of caracter.

A Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience My stay at this property was one of the worst hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. Initially, I contacted them on January 2nd to cancel two nights of my stay (January 9th and 10th) with a week’s notice. Despite this, I was told that cancellations require 7 days’ notice, which I had clearly provided. When I raised the issue upon arrival, I was assured a manager would contact me, but no one ever did. Multiple follow-ups at the front desk were ignored, and I was ultimately charged in full for the canceled nights. The room I was assigned added to the frustration. Located directly above the bar, it lacked any soundproofing, and the loud music, which lasted until 2 a.m., made it impossible to rest. Additionally, the room was permeated with food smells. While I understand this is a hostel, the price I paid warranted at least a warning about these conditions. To make matters worse, I accidentally left a black pouch in the room after checkout. When I contacted the property, the staff’s response was dismissive, stating I might get it back if I was “lucky.” While the pouch was eventually returned, I discovered that my AirPods had been stolen by staff. This experience was marked by poor communication, dishonesty, and a complete lack of accountability. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I am deeply disappointed by this level of unprofessionalism. I would not recommend this property to anyone seeking even a basic standard of service.

This is a beautiful and fun hostel. the staff is great. However between the clueless loud drunk men noisily returning at 2am, 3am, 4am and the loud music that starts every day at 7am, you won't get much sleep. The hot water is definitely sporadic. I would not stay here again but would return for the Cafe & Bar.
