The worst shower I've ever had in a hotel: The water takes forever to heat, then it arrives boiling hot (even if you, in theory, have it mixed with cold water) then it stops completely, then it comes back cold, then it's crazy hot again... Plus sometimes the sink also runs out of water. And the toilet flush got stuck twice (constantly flushing), so we had to open it and fix it. Plus the room is a lot tinier than it appears in the pictures. It is well located, and the staff was friendly, plus the overall aesthetic of the place is good ...

The location of the Selina is really good. Central and within walking distance of everything. However, the common kitchen is indefinitely closed. They don’t even let you use the fridge or have a water cooker there to make you some tea. Apparently it’s for renovation but we never saw any work done there. I assume it’s rather to increase revenue in the adjacent cafe. Additionally I found some of the hotel and cafe staff super unfriendly und not helpful at all. The rooms are fine and everything was clean. There are no shared bathrooms, even though it says so on booking and Selina website. You have a private bathroom however it’s not en-suite, so you need to walk the hallway to get there.

The experience was really. The rooms were tidy and comfortable. The staff was very kind and were always ready to help you. It's a great place to share if you are traveling and working as they have place to work, take calls etc. overall a very good experience.

Lovely hotel/hostel. Really nice rooms and incredibly comfortable beds. Very friendly hosts. Nice cooking facilities and good location (not too central and loud but easy walking distance to everything in Pucon).
